Natures Teamwork

Nature's teamwork at its finest...

Chloe captured this incredible shot of our bees festooning, and honestly, we never get tired of seeing this amazing behaviour! Look at them linking together like tiny acrobats, forming living chains and bridges with their own bodies.

So why do they do this fascinating dance? Our clever girls create these bee chains when they're building new comb, passing wax from bee to bee, or when they need to measure spaces in the hive. It's like they're creating their own living scaffolding system... It's pure genius.

You might also spot them festooning when the colony is preparing to swarm, clustering together as they make important group decisions. It's one of those magical moments that reminds us just how incredibly organised and collaborative these little workers are.

Seeing behaviour like this up close never fails to fill us with wonder. Mother Nature really is the ultimate engineer!
